Seal Rite Paving is proud to announce its achievement of the prestigious Diamond Level in the Associated Builders and Contractors’ STEP Safety Management System. This remarkable accomplishment signifies that our company is an astonishing 655% safer than the industry average.
Fresh Focus on Safety Protocols
Seal Rite Paving maintains top-tier safety practices. In fact, the company participated in and successfully completed a proactive pilot program with Cal OSHA that detailed best practices to prevent job site injuries. All employees participate in comprehensive safety training, supported by a detailed safety handbook that guides best practices. This includes a separate training segment dedicated to worker safety during new employee orientation. To ensure their protection, we provide high-quality personal protective equipment such as hard hats, high-visibility safety vests, eye, and ear protection, along with other gear at no cost.
Daily site safety is monitored by our experienced foremen who are Cal OSHA certified and trained to ensure the highest level of safety is upheld. These foremen conduct morning briefings to review the day’s tasks and address potential hazards. Additionally, our team attends monthly in-person safety review meetings to reinforce safe work habits and discuss safety improvements. During extreme heat conditions, we prioritize our employees’ health by providing ample water, shaded breaks, and hydration stations to prevent heat-related illnesses.
